Scorpio Consulting Limited (“we”, “us”) runs this website and is responsible for the personal information described here. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us:

• Contact form: your name, email address, and, if you add them, your company, country, the topic you chose and your message.
• Email and phone: whatever you include when you email or call us.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record basic technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and we do not use them to identify you.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a mailing list without your agreement.

Who handles it

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website and our email:

• Our website hosting provider hosts this website and passes contact-form enquiries to our inbox.
• Our email provider stores and delivers our email.

They act only on our instructions and must keep your information secure. These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as we need them to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not load content from other companies: our fonts and images are served from our own website. Because of this, you will not see a cookie banner.

If we ever add anything that uses cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. You can also object to our use of it. To make a request, email info@scorpioconsulting.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
